Community Midwives

The midwives team are able to offer full care during pregnancy. The doctors and midwives share the care of the expectant mother. Women have the choice of attending Worthing or St Richard's Hospital Maternity Unit for their delivery.

The midwife holds an antenatal clinic on Tuesday afternoons by prior appointment from 13:30 to 16:00 at East Preston Children & Family Centre, 92 St Marys Drive, East Preston, West Sussex, BN16 1JB Tel: 01903 270 470. Messages for the midwife may also be left by telephoning Worthing Hospital, 01903 205111 and asking for Bramber Ward (irrespective of selected hospital for delivery).

Community Nurses

Patients wishing to speak to or arrange an appointment with the district nurse team may contact them on 01903 843643.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

The Health Visiting team are based at Angmering Medical Centre and can be contacted on 01903 785994.

Carers Support Service

The support service can be contacted at 01903 536378.

Counselling Team

Counselling is available upon referral by a doctor for personal and relationship counselling, sex therapy, bereavement and child - adolescent counselling. 

Mental Health Team

The practice has access to the Primary Care Mental Health Service, upon referral by a doctor.

Complementary Therapists

Osteopathy is available at Westcourt Medical Centre.  This is a private service.  Please ask at the reception desk for information.
