Repeat Prescriptions

red_pills_bottleRepeat prescriptions are computerised. Please indicate which item(s) you require when submitting your request.

Collecting and dropping off your prescription has been made easier with help from all local chemists providing a collection service.

You may also post in your prescription and have it sent back to you - please ensure that you enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

You can now also order repeat prescription items online. Once you have registered for the service and received your username and password you can log in via the link at the top of this page to order repeat items online.

You may pick up your prescription from the surgery after 12:00pm or, preferably, in the afternoon Monday to Friday. Please allow 72 hours to collect from reception or 5 working days to collect from the pharmacy.

To avoid errors, we ask receptionists not to take prescription requests over the telephone.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
